We collect information you provide directly, information generated automatically when you use the service, and information we receive from the third-party providers that help us operate Fansilo.io (such as payment and identity-verification providers). The categories below describe the main types of information involved.
2. Account Information
When you register, we collect information needed to create and secure your account, such as your email address, login credentials (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider), and basic profile details you choose to add.
3. Creator and Customer Information
For creators, we may collect display name, username, profile and biography details, and information related to selling content and receiving payouts. For customers, we may collect purchase history and library entitlements tied to your account. We only collect what is reasonably needed to provide the service.
4. Payment-Related Information
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers. We may retain limited transaction records such as order identifiers, amounts, currency, status, and partial or tokenized references returned by the payment provider, so we can support orders, payouts, refunds, and dispute handling.
5. Identity and KYC Information (Where Applicable)
Where identity or age verification (KYC) is required — for example, for creators receiving payouts — verification is performed by a third-party provider. We keep the identity information we store to the minimum necessary for compliance and fraud prevention, and we do not publish it.
6. Uploaded-Content Information
When creators upload content, we store the content files and related metadata (such as titles, descriptions, pricing, file type, and timestamps) needed to host, deliver, and manage that content on the platform.
7. Device and Technical Information
We automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, and usage activity. This helps us operate, secure, and improve the service and detect abuse.
8. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions such as authentication and session management, and we may use limited analytics to understand how the service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect functionality.
9. How We Use Information
We use information to operate and secure the service; create and manage accounts; process purchases, payouts, refunds, and disputes; perform required identity or age verification; prevent and investigate fraud and abuse; provide support; comply with legal obligations; and improve and develop Fansilo.io.
10. When Information May Be Shared
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in limited circumstances described below — with service providers, as required by law or valid legal process, to protect rights and safety, and in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.

17. Adults Only — 18+ and Children’s Privacy
Fansilo.io is intended only for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will take steps to delete it.
