Terms of Service — Customers

1. Customer Eligibility

To purchase or access content on Fansilo.io you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. You must provide accurate information and use the service only for lawful purposes.

2. Creator Is an Independent Seller

Content on Fansilo.io is created and sold by independent creators, not by Fansilo. Each creator is solely responsible for their own content, descriptions, previews, pricing, and representations. Your purchase is a transaction facilitated between you and the creator through the Fansilo.io platform.

3. Fansilo as a Technology Platform

Fansilo LLC operates Fansilo.io as a technology platform that provides tools for creator profiles, content hosting and access, purchase-gated delivery, payments, and related services. Fansilo does not author or own creator content and does not assume responsibility for a creator's independent acts, representations, ownership claims, or conduct, while retaining rights to moderate, remove, suspend, preserve information, and cooperate with lawful government requests.

4. Customer Account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us at legal@fansilo.io if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.

5. Payments

Prices are shown at checkout in the applicable currency and are charged when you complete a purchase. Access to purchased content is granted only after your payment is verified by the platform and payment provider; an on-screen success message alone does not grant access.

For each qualifying purchase, Fansilo retains a platform fee of thirty percent (30%) of the sale price and the creator receives the remaining seventy percent (70%). This fee split applies to the Fansilo transaction structure and does not add any charge to the price you see at checkout.

6. Third-Party Payment Processing

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers and may be subject to their own terms. Fansilo does not store your full card details. Fansilo is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or availability of third-party processors, though we make reasonable efforts to support legitimate transactions.

7. Content Access

After a verified purchase, the purchased item becomes available in your library for access consistent with these Customer Terms. Previews are provided for browsing; full or original content is delivered only after purchase. Access may depend on your account remaining in good standing and on the content remaining available on the platform.

8. Limited Personal-Use License

When you purchase content, the creator grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and view that content for your own personal, non-commercial use. Purchasing content does NOT transfer any ownership, copyright, or other intellectual property rights to you.

9. Copyright Restrictions

All content remains the property of the creator or its respective rights holders. You may not reproduce, download beyond what the service permits, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from purchased content except as expressly allowed by these Customer Terms.

10. No Unauthorized Redistribution

You may not copy, screen-record, share, resell, sublicense, publish, or otherwise redistribute creator content, or make it available to any other person or the public. Unauthorized redistribution is a serious violation that may result in account termination and legal liability to the creator and/or Fansilo.

11. No Account Sharing

Your account and purchased content are for your personal use only. You may not share your account or credentials, and you may not provide others with access to content you have purchased.

12. Fraud and Payment Abuse

Fraudulent purchases, unauthorized use of payment methods, and abusive chargeback behavior are prohibited. Fansilo may use fraud- and risk-detection measures and may decline, hold, or reverse transactions, require additional verification, or suspend accounts where fraud or abuse is suspected.

13. Refunds

Because purchases provide immediate access to digital content, sales are generally final. Refunds may be provided at Fansilo's or the creator's discretion, or where required by applicable law, for example in cases of duplicate charges, technical failure to deliver, or unauthorized transactions. Where a refund is issued, your access to the related content may be revoked.

14. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us at legal@fansilo.io before initiating a chargeback so we can help resolve it. Initiating a chargeback for content you accessed, or filing fraudulent disputes, may result in loss of access, suspension, or termination, and we may contest disputes we reasonably believe are invalid.

15. Billing Errors

If you notice a billing error, notify us promptly at legal@fansilo.io with the relevant details. We will investigate in good faith and correct verified errors, including issuing adjustments or refunds where appropriate.

16. Taxes

Prices may be exclusive or inclusive of applicable taxes depending on your location and applicable law. Where required, applicable taxes may be added at checkout or collected as legally required. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you individually beyond those collected at checkout.

17. Prohibited Activities

When using Fansilo.io you must not:

• attempt to bypass payment, access, or security controls;
• download, scrape, copy, or redistribute content without authorization;
• share your account or purchased content with others;
• harass, threaten, extort, or abuse creators or other users;
• use the service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others' rights; or
• interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform.

18. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that may violate our policies or the law, please report it through our Report Abuse process. Reports involving minors or non-consensual content are treated as highest priority and may be referred to authorities.

19. Account Suspension / Termination

Fansilo may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice depending on the circumstances, if you violate these Customer Terms, engage in fraud or abuse, or where required by law or to protect users, creators, or the platform. You may stop using Fansilo.io and request account closure at any time.

20. Content Removal

Content may be removed or become unavailable at any time, including when a creator removes it, when it is removed for policy or legal reasons, or when an account is terminated. Where content you purchased is removed for reasons other than your own violation, we will handle any applicable remedy in accordance with our policies and applicable law.

21. Intellectual Property

The Fansilo.io platform, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Fansilo LLC or its licensors and is protected by law. Creator content is owned by the respective creators or rights holders. These Customer Terms do not grant you any rights in Fansilo's or creators' intellectual property except the limited personal-use license described above.

22. Disclaimers

Fansilo.io is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the extent permitted by law. Fansilo does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, and does not endorse or guarantee creator content. Nothing here disclaims obligations that cannot be disclaimed under applicable law.

23. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Fansilo LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of Fansilo.io, your breach of these Customer Terms or the law, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fansilo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of Fansilo.io or any creator content. Nothing in these Customer Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

25. Governing Law / Dispute Resolution

These Customer Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Fansilo LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory local law applies to you. The parties will attempt to resolve disputes informally first; unresolved disputes will be handled through the venue and process designated by Fansilo to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here waives rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

26. Changes to Terms

Fansilo may update these Customer Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date and may provide additional notice. Your continued use of Fansilo.io after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Customer Terms.
